Structured Wiring
How does it work? Most homes are wired only for basic services such as electricity and telephone, and maybe cable TV. This wiring isn't enough for homeowners to take advantage of the latest technologies.
That's why we recommend a structured wiring system. Coastal Carolina Audio Video can install a home wiring network that will connect all the rooms in your home to a central location. From there, signals from services such as phone, fax, high speed Internet, satellite TV, cable, and closed-circuit TV can be sent to any room in the house where they can be accessed and enjoyed.
- Watch video input from antenna, cable, satellite, VCR, or DVD in any room in your home.
- Access multiple telephone lines for voice, fax, or modem in any room.
- Link home computers to share files, printers, and Internet access. All the convenience of the office, at home!
And because the home wiring networks we install are designed for the future, new technologies such as interactive TV, digital television, and video on demand can be integrated into your system to eventually become part of your home and your lifestyle.
How does it work? We will run high quality cables from wall plates in individual rooms to a central location, usually in the utility room. Incoming services such as telephone, cable, and satellite TV are brought to the central location. An equipment panel at the central location houses all the distribution hardware and enables services to be routed and reconfigured as needed to each room. The wall plates in each room have connectors for telephone, data, and video. All you have to do is plug in your device and you're ready to go.
